Life Caching - beyond food
Last time I read anything about caching (save the odd google search) was in my Psych days - we focused on the spatial memory of food caching birds when storing collected food (and subsequently recovering it).
Apparently the trend has gone up the food chain.
Coined by Trendwatch, “Life Caching” is a latest trend:
“Human beings (fueled by a need for self-worth, validation, control, vanity, even immortality) love to collect and store…”.
Well I guess that explains my story collecting bent and my interest in story telling and the narrative (though I can assure you I was about that long before this blog or the term came about).
Makes for an interesting read nonetheless. With some interesting implications for marketing and business.
