Stories and Ideas are Linked
"I like the way stories and ideas are linked.
Stories lead you to an idea, absolute perhaps or maybe just illustrative. It’s like a condensed learning or perhaps the description of the learning that leads us to where we are today, the idea. If we posit the idea out there without a story, then there is no understanding of what it truly means and from where it came.
Given that there are so many ideas - be them words, numbers, theories etc - it is reassuring to know that there are as many stories too."

I am suddenly reminded of a lesson I was given - that in many traditions (including Judaism which is the one I know most deeply) "stories" represent the link/bridge between the ‘ideas world’ (the imaginal world) and the world we live in.
