A minute of My Time

"But what minutes!  Count them by sensation, and not by calendars, and each moment is a day."  - Benjamin Disraeli

"How long a minute is, depends on which side of the bathroom door you’re on".  - Zall’s Second Law

My question today, and you may find it nice to ask yourself this question to, is:  "Did I use at least one minute of my time today in a way that fed and nourished me and made me feel alive?"

I was just introduced to the works of Artist Micah Lexier by a new friend, conversationalist and colleague (?), Neil. In addition to his sense of humor about numbers and age and time and books and words…I find his art very special (below you will find some links to the ones that captivated me this mid-morning).

In my discovery process I found a series called "A minute of my time". You can read the history for yourself. It got me running down a tangent in how we use these precious minutes, what we create, are we using them in a way that isn’t just effective but generative and fresh and living and…nourishing.

We have in each day so many precious one minutes - and the concept of using one minute in a focused nourishing way is so acheivable…though I daresay will change the face of all the other minutes that follow it.
