Making Money is Art?

"Making money is art and working is art and good bsiness is the best art of all"

- Andy Warhol (1928-1987)

My accountant recently told me "I am here to do great work for honest clients and make good money" about his business and I thought - well, there is someone who has the right attitude! I have another saavy friend who says he sees money as just one of the ways to measure his creativity in business…

Both seem to have such a healthy relationship with money…the more I explore my opportunities and abilities, and also, work with clients to deliver positive, healthy and profitable change I have found that adding in the concept / question of ‘health’ helps a lot to deal with questions of money and value.

Where I sit at the moment is viewing money as an enabler…but I am always interested in:

how do people keep a healthy attitude about income and value and money!?

Though quantitative indicators are one of many and should never be relied on as the sole indicators to make decisions (yes, this is a whole other conversation) I do agree that they play a place in our society and thus, I also see no reason to deny them…particularly if viewing money from the position of fear and limitations in this area is what keeps us from seeing the world as one of abundance and opportunity….

PS thanks to Jochem for the quote
