I can’t take my eyes off it! And I really sorry that I have missed the exhibition!
I heard about this photo from a friend who knows I am currently writing/documenting my family’s story - the stories of my grandparents, and my extended family. The process is long and slow.
This photo echos the time of my own grandparents. And a small story I currently writing on a photo of sister’s - my grandmother and her sister.
And I want to thank Vardi too - for reminding me that it is ok for the storyteller to be silent, and to let the photo speak…
I hope I can honour my family as she does hers…
