It has been quite a hiatus! I hope this finds you well!?

I realised today I haven’t officially blogged since February 15th. That’s over a month - and I think the longest time I haven’t blogged since I started www.natalieshell.com. It isn’t that I haven’t had material. It is just somehow it didn’t materialise online the way it usually does for me…The last week since I noticed properly (because yes, of course I have been away, things have been going on and so forth), I still hadn’t seemed to make my thoughts sprout online (or on-blog).

Finally a friend said yesterday "why don’t you write about how hard it is to (re-)start?".

I almost did.

But today I realised this was more about habits. I have simply gotten out of the habit of dialogue-ing via this medium. Other things and alternatives had filled the space. And now I would like to get back into it!

So, in keeping with the idea to ‘just start’, here is me coming back to a habit I enjoy. And hope you enjoy it too!

PS Any habits you want to take up? Or end? Vanquish? Or re-begin?

Happy habit-considering, habit-forming and/or habit-breaking…

a habit of being more aware of how habitually our brains falls into their habits

hmm, which triggers a thought for me - falls, cadence, causal, the same root, fwiw :)
