In Search of Eustace

I caught this on the anthropologist and it has to be one of the nicest uses of multi-media storytelling I’ve seen: photography, writing, print/typography & film…by photographer David Eustace about his road trip with 16 year old daughter Rachel.

At 2:07am on the 9th of October 1992 my life changed forever. My daughter Rachael was born.

Now 16 years later I fully appreciate the words of the late Lebanese philosopher and poet Khahil Gibran who wisely wrote in his poem “Speak to us of Children”. “Your children are not your children they are lives longing for itself”.
….
What follows is a journal, document, snapshots of these few special weeks we spent together discovering a little more of each other.”
